I used a forum member here and ended up donating it all (I think the right term is "got robbed". That past member was in the process of going out of business and I happened to get caught up in the rush. Involved was a pickup load of processed electronic scrap. Now days I just throw the stuff in a car body and it goes to the crusher. Too much work and bother for little pay.
On-farm gathering of machinery, vehicles, shop items etc. is my preference and today's prices make it fun. At age 73, I take along another kid (he's 74) and I tell people it's better to go out in pairs. That way there is someone to call the coroner if need be.
I fell off a car body that was stuck in a tree last week while holding a lit acetylene torch. Burning hair smells like burning chicken feathers in case you didn't know. I was lucky.....just got a partial beard trimming and a rash on my neck.
