    Cool Howdy from Grapevine, TX

    I am in the swimming pool service business. Replace lots of 220v pump motors and would like to learn how to make an extra buck or two on 'em. Am a total newb at scrapping so you pro's take it easy on me....Thanks!

    Welcome to the Forum.

    If they're held together with 2 or three long bolts, it should be a simple matter of unbolting, pull the case apart and there should be copper windings inside. Just a matter of experimenting to find what works best for you to get the copper wire out. The rest is probably Light Iron.

    A guy I know opens them. Then uses an air chisel with a curved chisel too in the air gun.
