    Greetings from NC

    I have been scrounging lead for the last couple years and recently found this site due to a post on a bullet casting site. Spent a couple days reading and wish I had found it a few years ago. Saw many pallets of computers at auctions, but never knew what to do with them. Now I know what to look for thanks to this site.



    Did my first scrap yesterday. Been driving past a TV on the side of the road for over a month now. Yesterday I stopped and picked it up and pulled several ounces of copper and a aluminum heat sink out of it.

    Not sure that you are still collecting lead or not but roofers produce a bit of lead from the lead boots when trimming them down.
