    Canuck ready to recycle !!!!

    Hi guys , m.a metal inc is a small business that open there door in 2005 dealing vrac scrap metal , today we are 5 to work in it and really proud of what we accomplish . We just bought a new copper wire processing machine and we are looking for tech wire . For anymore info look on my profile or message us thank you

    Not that I will be shipping you my wire please explain what "tech" wire is. Congrats on your success, Mike.

    I don't know if you guys have different term in the states but tech wire are use in factory they are normally like 3-0 with a thick aluminium protection on them . Ill post pic later maybe you can inform me on the right name ... Thanks

    It would be bx but in a much larger way , like 2 to 4 inch , we use tech to seperate from 5/8 bx

    oh, i have one of those in my garage i was messing with last night. came from an office dumpster attached to a cubicle frame.... had like 6 or 8 strands of insulated thick thhn running through it. does that sound right?

    Are you talking about Teck cable? It's an armoured cable like BX, but also has a PVC coating, allowing it to be buried or used in hazardous environments. Comes in all the standard sizes. Used it up north on radar stations.

    We bought a factory in our area and they were using it to run main power of the plant .they legally have to use teck wire for the armored part of it . Problem is when you want to skin it , processing is a little more work , hoppefully we just bought a new machine that handle it pretty good.
