    Hello from Baltimore, MD

    My name is Jennifer and I have always been in the entrepreneurial buy/resell field for as long as I can remember (going back as far as the lemonade stand days). My background is in finance but after being laid off numerous times, I found myself in a warehouse manager position for the reuse department of a corporation. I have to say, I LOVE this job so much more than any other job I have had. It has completely opened my mind to recycling, reuse, and resale for used products.

    I deal with our local scrap yards on a weekly basis and look forward to learning so much more on this site! Thanks for all the great input!

    You live not far from me. I live in Northern Virginia, in Manassas Park, VA to be exact.

    You remind me a little of myself. I have owned a few companies, and have also worked for numerous companies as well. Always found what I did for myself more rewarding. It is a good feeling you get, when you can help others to help the environment and make money at it as well.

    Welcome aboard...I am sure you can teach us some stuff, and vice versa.

    Thanks for the great welcome everyone! I have been reading this site non-stop after work for the past week and it has been great so far. Once I catch up on some posts and educate myself more, I am sure I will be posting away!

    To whom are you referring Filthy? There are so many here! And Mechanic, trust me, I can handle it. 90% of my friends are men and I love it. More male friends = less drama.

    Ah, gotcha, yeah I've looked into them before. I'm sort of loyal to my local guy though so I try to stay with him. Always open minded about this stuff though.
