I love this site and it has great information that has helped me expand the recycling part of my business. I love north of fort worth and work in the school business as an asst superintendent. I have a small side business where we manufacture and sell wakeboard tower lightbars and speaker cans out of aluminum. I have been buying storage units for the last 12 years and try to get 1 or 2 a week.
A lot of the storage units that I buy are from Barnett shale gas workers that move on. I sell the items on ebay and craigslist bur i also encounter a lot of copper wire and one time over 100 pounds of tungsten carbide. I have a small 30 x 40 shop and I sort my items there. I collect the scrap untill I get a truck and trailer load and I head to fort worth to sell two or three times a month.

Also, I have recently been turned on to escrap and break down computers that I purchase on renebates web site.
