    Hello from Coastal North Carolina

    Hello, my name is Don and I am located in Craven county NC and have been scrapping as a sideline for a few years now. I do welding and machining as a sideline and naturally transitioned into scrapping metals. My main interests have progressed into the e-scrap field. I have been looking for a site like this for some time now.
    I am a retired U.S. Marine and an avid motorcycle rider. I have already learned many things related to the e-waste industry and I am pursuing a degree in CNC machining. I have used some of my college courses to start my research of the e-waste recycling industry and plan on building my business to replace my current employment when the time comes to move on.

    Welcome to the forum Don. Mike here also a retired Marine and living in Jacksonville, NC. I pretty new to the scrapping thing myself. Currently I am concentrating on ewaste and pulling the copper out of mostly motors. You will find a lot of information available in the old posts. Take the time to read some of them. I'm sure you will be happy you joined as the memebers are very helpful and we also have ewaste buyers. Mike.
    "Profit begins when you buy NOT when you sell." {quote passed down to me from a wise man}

    Now go beat the copper out of something, Miked
