    Hello from Terre Haute, IN

I will start off by saying that a great deal of my knowledge pertaining to scrap metal recycling and e-scrap was acquired right here on this forum. I am 28 years old and work full time at Lowe's Home Improvement as a Sales Specialist in Millwork (windows & doors). After countless hours of cruising the forum, researching various aspects of the recycling industry, and dissecting countless gadgets, I am confident enough in my knowledge now to hopefully give back to the forum. I started the same way many of us did, scrapping appliances, water heaters, bed frames etc... I felt the need to break down one of everything I could get my hands on just to see what was inside that made it "tick". Learned how to identify each of the metals and what items were made of. Then I discovered e-scrap.... I actually just returned from my first trip to Chicago, where I sold my first load of e-scrap. I am on the cusp of taking this to the next level and making a business out of something that began as a curiousity with the added benefit of secondary income. Wish me luck, as I will return the favor! Glad to be a part of the forum!
