You live closer to my sister in law then. She is about 3 to 4 hours away at Virginia Tech.

    Welcome to the forum.

What type of diving go you do? Recreational, work, or both?

Edit; Not had coffee yet. I was not thinking dumpster diving I was thinking Scuba diving. Dooogh!

Oh cool. I have only dove two times once in Manatee Springs and in Hospital Hole. Both are cave dives.

My buddy was a Dive master and he told me what to do on the way up to manatee springs. He gave me the go ahead to venture around at 70 feet.
It was the coolest thing I have ever done!

Always wanted to take classes to get certified but never got around to it. That is my next hobby come this spring!

What type of diving do you do?

I break the rules....I dive solo...My dive buddy lost his leg, it takes a lot to build trust with me and I do not like to baby sit underwater. I drift (local river, shallow, but many, many hangs...), wreck, and deep. Many many certs.....but they are just BS. Once you get your advanced cert...take the Rescue course and make sure the Instructor has a passion for it. This is one time that you want to interview the instructor as if your life depends on it, yours should not, but someone's will. You will never regret it.
