Good evening everyone.
Glad to be part of this forum. We are so looking forward to sharing stories and ideas.
Scott has been scrapping since 1995 and I started when we got together in 1998.
We have ventured into other areas that usually compliment our scrapping company.
Veggie oil recycling, recycling pallets, a small bio fuels co-op to name a few. However, there's always room in the truck and trailer for scrap. Like if you got a Real Job, would you drive by a $50 bill? No, well why drive by scrap.
We do this full-time and have our daily routes we down 6 days a week. We also go to auctions and garage sales weekly, usually never get scrap but lots of cheap furniture that we sell.
We have a retail space in which we sell used furniture, 2 bedroom apartment in the back of the store, and we have a paved parking lot in which we fenced in to make into our scrap yard. Mainly we use it for tear downs, storing the pericous until torn down, and our truck, trailer, and car dolly.
Anyways we could go on for hours.........
