Cool Richard (Mad for Metal) Port Deposit Md

Richard here in Port Deposit Maryland (Mad for Metal) I am new to the scrapping way of life. I retired from the Army in 1996 after 24 years and for years have been trying to find a new passion in life. I have always enjoyed working with my hands fixing things that others would throw away. My wife Katrina has been very supportive in my new passion looking for scrap with me. (very supportive) I have started one business relationship with a thrift store/community help center. They take in donations to sell and raise money to help feed the local community. I buy all their non working electrical donations that are to much for them to scrap thus helping my local community while I scrap. I look forward to new adventure and growing my scrapping knowledge

Just watch that you aren't paying more for the "junk" electronics than what it's worth. I usually only buy the computer related escrap and haul the rest off for the service of cleaning it up.
