    Hey everyone,
Glad to be here. I'm an old construction renovation guy that ended up as a web developer after the construction market collapsed in Colorado. Software development is high stress and no exercise so I'll still pick up a side job when I can. I'm always on the lookout for some good scrap. It's genetic in my case. My dad is still a craphound in his sixties. The first money I made on scrap was tearing down old barns when the guvment came through to widen the highway in my home town. There was a picture frame factory that would buy all the grey lumber and rusty tin we could bring in.

One very cool thing was a small silver oil lamp. It looked like a tiny teapot with a cotton wick in the spout. My friend and I sold it for a few bucks. Now that I'm pushing 40 id love to have that back. :-)
