Thanks, and definitely agree with that, Injunjoe. We've had all four of our kids on jobs since they were babies. Even our two daughters can paint! lol
Not sure if we're passing on a curse or a blessing!
Now the youngest (17) helps his dad every day.
PS-We're originally from Central Florida. Been in East Tennessee 14 years. Still miss the sun!

I just edited this post since I was thinking about how stupidly I put my thoughts. Really didn't mean it the way it came out.
There are so many young adults and teens who are incredibly intelligent, innovative and hard-working go-getters.
But it seems that many of my generation as parents have fallen down on their job, imho, by not helping their kids grow up
to be what they could be. And that is very unfortunate, even if unintended, since it's these young ones who end up short-changed.
So, definite kudos to all, no matter what age, who work hard, think for themselves, and get out there and DO stuff!
Hope this makes up for my very poor choice of words before.
