Greetings everyone,
I am new to the scraping world. I am an hvac service tech and i have access to a lot of old a/c units. My boss sells them to me for $5. per condenser (a great deal right?)
I have been buying them and storing them to give me something to do to make money during the slow seasons.
Ive been roaming the various threads this morning and by what I have read so far I will probably be on here a lot, thought I would go ahead and register.

Hello & Welcome to the forum Jimmy,
Sounds like you are on course, with being able to buy the AC units from your Guvnor?

Indeed this forum was an eye opener. I was just going to take the coils out and basically give the rest away.
I had no idea the rest could be worth as much as it is.
Congrats on finding this forum. Its been a geat learning tool for me and others. I am sure you will learn a lot here. When you can please share what works well for you, Mike.

You should be able to make at least $50.00 on a small condenser unless it ends up being an aluminum coil, like in the Trane units.Originally Posted by Jimmythehand
