hi from nc

hi all,
ive been lurking for several weeks and have found lots of helpful info already. ive spent a lot of time here reading old threads about escrap, and am really looking forward to taking advantage of the knowledge here.
i started collecting beer cans about five years ago,and when it came time to clean up our backyard shooting range,i took the old targets (a few washer,microwaves and an old hot water heater) to the "metal man" with my cans.when he handed me $150 for a load of old rusty metal,i was hooked. since then i have done a little bit of everything from tearing down old barns to stripping wire. i look everywhere i go for something with some metal i can throw on the pile. i have already picked up a few tips and tricks here and hopefully i can share a few of mine.

hey MIKED i live just down the road from you in newport!! and i love to take a hatchet and beat the copper out somethin with you sometime. that is an awesome quote.
MAXA,i know what you mean with that brass.it does add up quick.anything that dosent get reloaded, i pop the primers(just so the yard wont complain) and toss them in a bucket.
ive already found several nice bits of info here that will help put some extra cash in my pocket. i still have a lot to learn and the archives here are full of great info...THANKS ALOT.
