Thanks for the advice Miked. The company I work for is the North American distributor of MG Wire Granulators and I've spent the last few weeks visiting scrap yards and checking in on some of our customers that have recently purchased these machines. During this process, I've received conflicting information on what is considered a #1 chop versus #2, what mill tolerances are, etc.. I'm sure mills have different standards but I'm trying to learn more about these things and about all different wire to help customers and also to better understand the business myself. I'm spending whatever time I can find reading these threads and they are packed full of information!
