    Accidental scrapper

So I got in this business sort of by accident. I came from 30 years owning a commercial janitorial service, and it was getting tougher to make a living at it. I had heard about foreclosure cleaning and thought that would be a good adjunct to the janitorial. As I got into it I discovered that I was doing a lot more work for individual homeowners than I was for banks, and it paid better too. My first few appliances I dropped at the landfill, not knowing any better. Didn't take me long to figure out that was a serious stream of cash.
