Hello,
Been lurking around this forum for a while, finally decided to join.
A little background. I amom northeastern MN and currently scrap with both my brother and father. For the past few years I have been scrapping part-time (while finishing up my Masters degree) recently decided to make it my full time gig. Mostly, hauling prepared and unprepared steel. Trying to expand a bit into non-ferrous and ewaste.

Welcome to the forum. I'm sure there is much more to tell about a guy with a brand new masters degree going into the scrap business. My belief is there's a masters degree of scrap information available here in the old threads. The cost here is just how it takes to read them. Let us know how its goes with the new venture, Mike.

Thanks for the warm welcome.
Apologies for the late response was out in a job.
My master's degree is in mechanical engineering. Though what my research was in was image processing and augmented reality. There are a couple reasons why I changed fields. The first is that scrapping supported me throughout my years of schooling. Another reason was that I was tired of the bureaucracy in the education system.
