    Talking New from MA

Hey ive been scrapping for a year or so now. Started out as some side money, and now it is my only income. I will take anything i can get given to me, but i have a habit of keeping things i like(Anything with an engine or useful in some way).
The things that people will give away for free are amazing. Right now i am working on a street sweeper, left in the woods and overgrown for 20 years.
I strip electronics and have already read about how much i have missed and thrown into the dumpster.
I drive a 86 Chevy m1008(1 ton 4x4, diesel, 4.56 gears with locker) and it is one of my hobbies as well.

Streetsweepers are a pain in the butt. The sweeper part is plastic and keeps catching on fire. The dump box on the front of it is lined with plastic or rubber take your pick either way its catches on fire and never goes out till it burns itself out. I just hope you have a fire hose or multiple 55 gallon drums of water if you plan on cutting it up for prepared. Oh yeah and don't forget the tires, Seat, floor mats. I think they are at the very very top of my list of things I hate to cut up.

    Thanks all
Now to figure out how the **** uploads work on this site

And as for cutting it up, we will have to wait for rain or snow. The front bucket is bare steel, so just the sweeper is the main fire hazard i believe.
