I have been scrapping for about 5 years now. I scrap any ferrous and non ferrous metals. I am glad that I found this site so I can interact with fellow scrappers!

Now go beat the copper out of something, Miked
I am from Southport,NC. That is cool I'm about 2 hours away
Does anyone know how to extract the gold from thepins on the processors. I heard the newer boards are gold plated.
And since my buddy KZ didnt link that forum here it is for you.

Also I will suggest you take the time to read a lot of the old threads. You would already know the answer that and many more questions.
If you do go to the goldrefining forum take your time. Read lots before you post. The gold plating is far less than you may imagine but worth while to recover. Doing it yourself is a very bad idea without much study and equipement. Mike.
hey mikey,

Welcome! Lots of good stuff on the forum, no matter what part of scrapping you want to research! We also look forward to your contributions!
