Just want to say hello from Eastern,NC

I have been scrapping for about 5 years now. I scrap any ferrous and non ferrous metals. I am glad that I found this site so I can interact with fellow scrappers!

Hello Mike. Am I looking in a mirror? I'm Mike from eastern NC, well Jacksonville, NC. We now have four members from the area. So tell us more and where you stay, Mike.

Does anyone know how to extract the gold from thepins on the processors. I heard the newer boards are gold plated.

Although we all love gold here, there's a different forum better suited for that question.

Also I will suggest you take the time to read a lot of the old threads. You would already know the answer that and many more questions.

If you do go to the goldrefining forum take your time. Read lots before you post. The gold plating is far less than you may imagine but worth while to recover. Doing it yourself is a very bad idea without much study and equipement. Mike.
