    Hello everybody

My name is Scott and I think its about time I introduce myself. I have been reading posts on this forum for about 3 months now and I am constantly learning new things. At first it was overwhelming, all the different things to recycle and what to remember to look for in different things but I am definitely getting the hand of it. Unfortunatly I cant do much scrapping right now because I am attending school but I do what I can; like stripping whatever wire I find in my dorm room but when I go home for breaks I have been doing a lot more. Things will pick up for me this summer when I am home for more than a couple days and I will have a truck to pick things up. Thanks for everything I have learned so far and I am excited to learn more!

Welcome to the forum. Have you posted any fliers at school yet for scrap?

I haven't because I don't have a vehicle here or any place to store the scrap I get. Next year I am getting an apartment with a garage and I will have my truck so I will be able to post some fliers.

Welcome and if you have read the old posts you already know this. Check the dumpsters at each school break, students throw away good usable things as well as scrapable things, Mike.

haha I find wire outside then bring it to my room to be stripped, although my roommates extension cords next to my desk tease me every time I sit down. I also check the dumpsters outside everyday and on each floor there are recycling bins that always have cans. I wish I had my truck with me because I would go to every floor and take all the cans from all the dorms.

Also in many areas anything in the recycling bins belongs to the contractor who is hired to do the recycling. Mike.

I agree. Someone put those collection bins there and they intend to collect on it.
