joined looking for escrap info, and finding all kinds of info on everything.
now a little about myself: I started scrapping after hurricane katrina, just loaded trailer load after trailer load for shread(wish i knew then what i know now) I made a little and lost alot. have been a commercial fisherman since i was 16, started on a shrimp dock unloading shrimp, then said i want to fish so i got a boat job. now i worked my way up to mate on a pogie boat and make good money and work 6mo out of the year, it is great.gets a little tight rite before the season starts and savings runs out but that is why i scrap, and for all the cool things i find along the way. recently started a new carrer as an antique dealer, kind of started with a bang hopefully it will take off(the history channel was filming an episode of "picked off" a new series set to air this summer, and i got my face on the show) hopefully that will gane me some respect in the community, hopefully an auction house will soon follow.
