    New to the Scrap world

    Hello,

Thought I'd drop a post introducing myself. My name is Chris, and like a couple other folks I've noticed while lurking about the forums and absorbing all this wonderful information I'm on the coast of NC. Well..more like off the coast of NC. Sandbars great places to live.

Anyhow, new to the scrap world, but looking to change that. I spend most of my time running my own internet business, and soon to be spending some of that extra time scrapping. I like to stay busy, and to get the hell out from behind this monitor. lol.

I would like to say a big thanks to all who post on this Forum. It has to be one of the best I've come across for any topic. Helpful, tons of information, and seem to be quality folks. No trolls or twits. So thank you for all that!

I'm interested in all metal scrapping and ewaste. Never fear though, I've been doing quite the amount of research and have already looked into where I can drop my monitor and tv tubes. So don't worry, this scrapper won't be busting tubes up, releasing freon (when I do finally get my hands on ac equip), or any other silly nonsense. Give yourselves a round of applause, for having beaten into my head that doing such is foolish. Plus, I highly dislike fines or running afoul of the law.

I've babbled enough and if you read through all this, I salute you sir or madam! I look forward to learning more from you folks, and doing my own part to help the ones who come after me.

    Chris aka sirscrapalot
