    Neewbie from VA

    Hello all, from Richmond, VA,
I just found out and and signed up 4 " The Scrap Metal Forum" today.
I collect aluminum cans to recycle, with my 12 yr son for his football team. Any advice? And why is so hard to find out the $ of cans from scrap yards.
    Enjoyed meeting you

Most yards will give you prices over the phone, make sure you give them an aproximate weight because pricing depends on the amount you take in.

Welcome to the forum. Cans tend to pay between $0.55 and $0.65 around these parts.

Aluminum prices stay much more steady then say copper and such.
