    Smile Hello from Greece

    Hello everybody!!!

I am Labrini from Greece. My father is a specialist in recycling aluminum and heavy industrial construction machinery. We used to own a plant recycling but due to the economic crisis in GREECE me and my brothers decided to work mainly with trade in metals and especially copper processing. Thanks to know-how and experience of our father and of course to his invaluable assistance we believe that scrap trading is clearly better than the production.

I am interested in e-scrapping and I am looking forward to learning and interacting here.

Thanks in advance for your helping and guide.

Oooo lala, Welcome to the forum. So many people finding they may have to go a different direction to make a living. We have members from around the world so don't feel different we're all here to learn and share. The best part is you might find yourself a leader in ewaste in Greece.

Take the time to read the old threads starting with the electronics recycling section, then move on to the other sections.

While in the US Marine Corps I visited Rhodes, Greece, twice. I loved the food and beautiful landscape. I didn't have much contact with the people of Greece , mostly just the Greek military.

Best of luck with your new venture. Mike.

Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much may be done if we are always doing.

Yassou, kalispera, Lala - did I get that right ? -Long time since I was in Greece. Beautiful place. Hope the troubles subside soon. Welcome to the forum.

Have you ever had the American version of Greek yogurt? Very disappointing imo. Do you know if real Greek yogurt is made with cow's milk or goat milk?
    Just wondering.

Kalimera Scrapette, yes yous greek is totally right. Bravo!!!!Greece has a lot of economical trouble at the moment but i hope soon it will belong to the past.History has shown that everything is a cyle...like recycling...So, since the sun shine every day we will try our best.
I didn't know anything about American-Greek version of yogurt. But as far as your question is concerned, in Greece we have both types. I mean we make it also with cow's milk and goat milk. I prefer the first one. It's upon preferences. Nice to talk to you.

    Have a nice day!

Just because we might have people from there, doesn't mean I know that.

This forum has thousands and thousands of members, but not all of them active.
