Hi,
I'm Irish and grew up in a Mill Town so there was never a shortage of empty cans laying around. My Dad was a part time bartender and would bring cans home in big bags for me when I was like 6 years old. I'd stomp them flat and save them until we had a pick up load.
A good friend of my Dad's owned the scrap yard. I was always allowed to look, roam, and generally explore all over. That was over 30 years ago. I learned what every metal looked like early. When your a kid a bucket of copper is a payday. The bug got me early and I've been a scrapper ever since.
More recently I worked at a guys house who buys catalytic converters, wheels, etc. He is making what I believe to be alot of money. I mean $20,000 a week. He's been doing it forever, not what you but who you know. So I started looking for an opportunity. It may be
e-scrap.
I am here to learn. This site is great. So thanx to everyone who came before me and provided the opportunity to learn.
