I would spend a % of your scrap profits on things you can and will use. Btl water, wood, propane, charcoal, batteries, liquor, first aid stuff including feminine hygiene items, flashlights, generator, ice chests, gun, ammo, bow and arrows, coffee and more. Yes you could barter your copper scrap but the same could be done with any coins depending on there composition and or face value or forex exchange.
