securing loads in vehicle citation - Page 2

It's the same out here everyday around me anyone with a vehicle bigger then a coupe is a scrapper

I strap my load down put on a red flag drive within the law, but always a certain relief once the load is gone! One time I had a rusted out Chevy bed on the back on my Nissan, problem was we loaded it up and it hung over where you put in gas and yes the gas tank light was on! Made it to the yard and then had money for gas!!!

There's a rumor running around these parts that a guy bought a bag of ice, put it in the bed of his truck, turned a corner, bag slid and a cop wrote him up for it. Not sure how true it is, but unbelievable if it is.

Luckily I live 10 mins backroads from the yard and rarely strap my load, but always do if necessary. Dropped a bag of cans once, that's it! Plus, Voodoo can not sit still on the seat of the truck, so every turn is like a sideways rollercoaster for her, and I feel bad when the Ol'Dog cracks her chin on the dash, so bringing dog to the yard with me makes me drive a little less wreckless...

I don't believe I've let any cast seats go to the crusher, but yet I don't take the time to remove/save/store the rest of them.

Mech, Voodoo would kill me if I strapped her in!!! She'd never wanna go for a ride in the big red truck anymore. I think she enjoys it, actually, it must be like a rollercoaster to that silly old dog.

Well had my day in court for the ticket today. I didn't exactly win but the case was still dismissed cause I came in with a positive attitude and they felt I learned a lesson from it.
