if you want the correct details, an no offense to our resident Law Enforcement members...but go to the IFTA website, FSCMA, DOT, your state DMV, etc. They have all the info you need, from what weight ='s what, etc.
Yea I know state troopers are trained for this stuff as they can do a roadside/log inspection but it's their job to enforce the laws, not explain them.
