    Cheap Freon Test

I see alot of people here talking about spending big money to recover Freon legally. I install heat pumps routinely so I am EPA certified to work on units with 5lbs or less Freon. You can get a 608 licence here for $24.99. EPA 608 Certification Although so peps may complain that I am starting another thread, if this helps one person, I'm happy

well theres the cost of the recovery machine but you can always find them on craigslist and the machine pays for itself pretty quick.

Yes the recovery equipment does cost more but I had been seeing people say like $400 or technical training programs for just the licence. Also, if you do go all the way and get the 608 and recovery, you might as well start advertising AC re-charges also.

How about also advertising on Craigslist for the scrappers to come see you for a cheap freon removal if they bring it to you. You also get the free used freon to sell.

Can you give a round about of how much refrigerant is a typical window AC?

I would be all over that if there was someone local to me
