The company I work for is R2/RIOS certified. These are two of the highest certifications in the
electronics recycling industry. We work hard to maintain them and go through rigorous third party audits on a regular basis. What this means is, we do our due diligence. Not only do we know where our "guy" sends CRT's, we know where his "guy" sends CRT's, and so on and so forth. The point I was trying to make in my post about the other companies was that there are a lot of companies working on the CRT problem. Some of the heavy hitters in this industry are also working on solutions.
Here is an article that just came out today from Recycling Today about NuLife Glass.
RT - Recycling Today[/QUOTE]Don't take any of this the wrong way and try to see this from my view. With the exception to those on here that are R2 certified, how many scrappers do you know of that accept CRTs that process them correctly? I don't know of any outside NuLife. Speaking of, thanks for that article. Only shows their persistence to build facilities to process CRTs(especially with the collapse of the CRT processing facility that was there. I forget the town or the name of the place).
