I just sold a GM after I pulled the board out of the alum housing, it still leaves a chunk of alum. around the pins but they take it. They threw it in one of my bigger piles, I think m.b. but I'll have to check with Computerscrapper to be sure. I know he does not like Fords cause the case is filled with solid tar and you can't remove it, and the buyers don't like that. Also I heard there is gold contacts (or board) having to do with airbags, but that could get dangerous if one accidentally went off. Hope this helps some,,, On the GM board, I figure there's 2 lb of alum. left after removing the board. I think the lid is stainless but haven't spark tested it yet.

What grade of board is m.b. or is that just a standard motherboard classification? If so, what do you get a pound for that grade?

The airbags won't go off as long as you take the battery out.

Are you talking about the Airbag module?

That was just me cheating while typing, sorry it's motherboard but I don't remember if it was #1,#2, or#3, that's why I said I'll have to check with CS.
#1 Motherboard *Description Below*- $4.00 per LB
#2 Motherboard *Description Below*- $3.10 per LB
#3 Motherboard *Description Below*- $2.20 per LB
