    Home Made scrap magnets

I have two items I figured I would share. One is a Magnet type tool I created. I took an old pepper grinder top and removed the center grinder rod. I then took two neodymium magnets and a piece of Plexiglas that I sanded round to fit the end of the grinder top. I put the magnets inside it and locked them in with a screw into the Plexiglas. So I basically have a funky looking magnet that I use to sort pins and other ferrite material. Can even use it to post stuff to the fridge etc. and its easy to remove and use because of the handles on it.

Second item I created I shared with the forum many moons ago. It was a unique idea that I used a little bit. However it was labor intensive to create and I don't really solicite business anymore. I again took a neodymium magnet and painted it green, added some padding and slapped on some contact info and walla, unique business card to hand out that can also serve a purpose. I liked this idea because it I felt people were more likely to stick your "card" to a fridge or filing cabinet rather then add to there pile of business cards or just throw away
