That's an odd thing. Picking up a kiln tomorrow that I'm going to retrofit into a forced air casting furnace. A RAKU KILN that I found online.

Does seem weird at first. And I can't speak for the admins but pretty sure it's designed to limit how disruptive spam bots that successfully register can be and to prevent embedding pics with malware. Figure once people participate for a short while, it's less likely they're up to no good. Inconvenient at first but join a few conversations and you'll be able post pics in no time. Looking forward to following your kiln adventure!

Just got back from picking up my kiln.
The man selling it is a Minister of a church.
After chatting with him, it only cost me $20.00
SCORE!!!

You need to hurry and post a bunch of comments so you can post a pic of it.

So the measurements of this kiln is as follows
24 in outer diameter
17 1/4 Inner diameter
20 in depth.
The electronics have been removed.

There is an app. or some one hacked my phone an changed another app to Scrapmetalforum.

Or there could really be an app. I'll let you figure it out.

They tell me it is used for pizza ovens. It is 9"×4.5"×1.25" and it's heavy for its size...

Am sure there are folks here who are following them but have yet to overhear their name even in passing! And how are you trying to post pics? What site are you embedding them from?

I believe the 10 posts requirement is a myth. Last week, I saw a new member with 2 posts, post a pic.

So is the app.

Next mythbusters...is there an App and do you need ten posts to post a picture? The season finale will explore just how many posts you need to send private messages.
