    Aluminium work platform meltdown

So my work platform took a bit of a hit as I was carelessly throwing some logs to my "burn this year pile". Shoot. Then I wondered...how much Al is actually in this thing?

There was only 1 thing to do after that...

This is my first low heat melt with the large burner nozzle, and boy...that thing melted the alum right off of the tongs before I could place my pieces in the crucible - had to lower the pressure to around 5 PSI in order to handle the pieces.
