How to Strip RF-Feeder Coaxial cable

RF feeder coaxial cable is a kind of more complex cable. Some may think it more difficult to process. While in fact it just needs double stripping to scrap it, that's to say, to strip the wire again for twice.

Interesting. If only there was some kind of machine that would recover the copper for you....

would cable granulator do the job? Haven't really tried one but I've seen a lot about it online. All you have to do is put the cable in and the machine separate the metal out for you, other type of cable too....

Have anyone tried it and whats the pros and cons?

I feel like the Billy Hayes (r.I.p) of the scrap world keeps bombarding everyone with cheesy latenight infomercials, when I read some of these threads.

Can you tell us how a copper granulator - slices, dices, brightens my whites, and cooks my eggs perfectly?

For those who might be wondering about striping coax first check the center conductor(solid wire in the center) to see if a magnet will stick to it. Most of the coax used by cable tv companies has a copper coated steel wire in the center and is not worth any effort other than clipping off the connectors which are brass. Mike.

Now go beat the copper out of something, Miked

I have noticed that the older coax is usually a solid copper core. You can tell right away by how flexible the wire is.

I think the Shamwow guy should do some scrap infomercials. Are you getting this Scale Man? It's only $19.95 worth of tin plus metal Shavings and HMS Steel.

I have just found a scrap yard by me that actually buys coax cable. Be careful if you strip it most of it is copper colored steel wrapped in aluminum.

How would you do that? Pyrolize does not involve burning as oxygen is absent.
