I forgot where I was when I wrote all that. To the OP, around here I haven't noticed it to be an issue. One yard advertises they pay up to $500 ($500 trucks/$300 cars) and I have been buying them for $100 to $200.



Not sure why. Maybe they don't see or hear the tv/radio commercials. Maybe they prefer to deal with an individual instead of a big, scary, noisy scrap yard.
