went to the usual yard today 120 mile round trip. last week com wire was #2 at 2.75 today it was com wire at .40. last week hard drive trays (clean) were cast alu/die cast at .40. today they were zink at .10.
I had 180+ lbs of com wire and 90 lbs of hard drive trays. took a big big hit. + the trays are a b**ch to clean.
with prices so volital these days me thinks the yards are scrambling just like we all are to keep up but on a much grander scale. I just sent my customers a new price list last thursday now with gold at 1222 I will probably send a new one this week. Getting close to the breaking point on gold scrap.
