I have been offered This piece of farm equipment : for FREE!!!
I do not have the tools to cut this thing up! I have a truck and 16ft Trailer.
Need Either big equipment to move or someone with Torches to help with the cut-up.
I will split 50/50 with whomever can assist!

There's about a 139 miles between the two, not worth driving for, but I know someone that could cut and load it. Depending on the general direction.

Sledge42 does the yard have a roll off truck? If so let them drop you a couple of 20 yard containers,,Mechanic said he has a torch man and can load it you have some serious weight I would guess 20-25 tons weight good luck.

Spoke to the yard.. showed the Yard Manager Pics. He is glad to be getting it in.. but no dice on a dumpster or haul in on his equipment sadly. I'm in this one alone.. except for the partner thing. I think I may have found the guy. Had some good conversations with him.
I also did contact BigBlueV12 who lives in Columbus.. Got to talk with him today. Apparently the 30 foot trailer and the dually are gone now. And with what it is.. he didn't think it was worth it for him. Which is cool. He is busy doing other things now.. I Respect that! Told him we should still meet since we are like 20 miles apart!
I think taterjuice has hauled some of those pull type combines. I'm guessing 6 to 8000 pounds. PTO driven equipment always look heavier than they are.

Last resort sell it to the yard as is and supervise removal. Show pictures so they bring the right equipment. A fair price can be agreed on by weight or job.You choice. Negotiate well . 1scrap

I have had people guessing from 3K pounds to 10,000 lbs to more than that. I really have NO Idea what this will weigh in at once it is done. But I will be sure to add up all the tonnage and report that back. I am dying of curiosity as well. Because it could be 5,000 lbs.. it could be 25,000 lbs.. I really don't know! It is old steel though.. ya know the kind of stuff people would say "Dang.. they just don't make em like THAT anymore" kind of steel!

Just a idea call a dumpster company tell them you need two 20 yard containers, and tell them that you need it dumped at the scrap yard not a land fill so they will not have any dumping fees they should do it, I might be off on the weight but from a city kid it looks like it's pretty heavy gage steel to me the front root tiller looks pretty heavy unless the back is hallow I think you will be surprised in the weight you get.

1956: I was guessing 5 tons. I may be way off. I hope I am way off in the "Oooh that weighed more than I thought" direction. I guess it will just have to be sliced, diced and weighed. I may have found the guy. He seems as "hungry" as I am and has all the tools.. so we may begin as soon as we can make arrangements with the property owner!!

I would try and get that roll off container though they are placed on the ground easy to load, and save your trailer axles if possible

I wouldn't get my hopes up...farm equipment is light. This is a grain harvester of some sort, so it is made of lots of thin sheet metal. My guess would be that it is closer to 3000 lbs. Much heavier than that and it would be hard to pull in some soft fields.
Hopefully Tater or Yunkman or Patriot76 will see this thread and chime in, since they are scrapping this stuff all the time.
Now if you find something old that is ex-construction equipment, you can be talking heavy shzt! Not generally the case for farm equipment, though.

I think you could actually unbolt most of those pieces. It's just an old Allis pull type combine. I know I have taken them apart to work on. It won't be fun, it won't be fast, but it is possible. With a long enough break over bar on your socket you may break most of the bolts off. I really think I would plan on taking it apart enough to get in the back of my truck. I agree with sawmilling, I don't think it will weigh as much as you think.
The header portion can come off, the grain tank and auger can come off. Then there are just a few more pieces to take down to a manageable size. Just let physics be your friend.
