    This is something I have wanted to do for years. So about a week ago I baught one. Just waitng for the snow to clear and I am off to see what lies below.

    I know the feeling....We had a lot of snow this year and then the flooding started so I have spent a lot of my free time cleaning up after the water damage....But my detector is ready and waiting for me to get out there.

    Sweet, what kind of detector did you get? I use two different units depending on the situation...I have one Bounty Hunter and one Minelab.
