If they are brand new and never used they are worth way more as is than SCRAP. Why scrap them?

If you have any friends in the plumbing industry or plumbing businesses in your town, you should approach them. As Big Burtchino mentioned, they are worth way, way more than scrap. Instead of $2/Lb as scrap, there's no reason why you couldn't fetch $2 per piece. You could try craiglist also if you strike out with plumbers.
