Boxes and boxes of Carbon Film Resistors. Any Advice?

*UPDATE* 5/20/17- Added Pics!

Did a client Pickup yesterday.
Got a gob of vintage Carbon Film Resistors. I was hoping at the bottom there were bags or boxes of tantalum.. may have found some.. but mostly I have lbs and lbs of boxes of unused Carbon Film Resistors.

Will look to snap some pictures- but are there any precious metals in these at all?
Ebaying them would probably be done by me.. until death.. and then my kids until their death.
There are so many types, voltages, resistance etc.

Looking for a semi-quick churn and burn!

Wouldn't know if these could just go in my "wire" barrel.

Always love finding new things- but cringe when I think "What the Hades am I going to do with all this stuff?"

Thanks for the reply. These are actually mostly all in their original boxes.
I do have quite a bit that are "bagged" and lose- but they are sealed bags, with labels so you know what is in them.

Have a bunch of Allen Bradley and TRW.

I know the Allen Bradley's will probably sell. I may take a few "bunches" or "lots" and try them on Ebay- if no sale. I have found out that all the wires that stick out of each end are copper. So I will sell them as #2-- because I'm not about to cut the resistors out of each one!

The second entries second(?) photo of the connectors. If the pins have not been inserted into the connectors then those would get a good price on ebay. Of course if you can sell as new and usable then much better for you Thanks for sharing. 73, Mike

May have found some bags of Tantalum (What I was really hoping for)

No the connectors that are aluminum with the blue inside part. In my military electronics experience new connectors come with the pins not installed so you can put the wire into the pin and then insert the pin into a hole in the connector.

In the case of military connectors the pins are in a plastic bottle or a plastic bag. Since these pins have a heavy gold plate they are popular with ebay buyers. The buyers are interested in the gold recovery from the pins.

As always it best to sell as it was originally intended. 73, Mike
