    Just read up on how to safely discharge them, unless you know how long it's been sense they've been plugged in.

    Ryan – if you are asking how to refine the gold from the parts there isn’t much info around here (start a thread about it and I’ll see you there). There are a number of posts about breaking down computers and identifying parts however. Do you have much natural occurring gold in your part of Australia?

    the main thing I've gleaned from my little bit of research is that "refining" is best left to "refineries". But youtube has plenty of videos on how to poison yourself or blow yourself up. If you are so inclined.... knock yourself out !! (so to speak )
