    My First Attempt

    LCD TV maybe 16/20"".

I took a couple of photos in case they come in handy for anyone. Sorry if it's not very informative as I'm brand new to this so if anyone wants to point out what is what inside it would be really helpful. I have a few large TV's to take apart and up until now I've only done a few small things like a vacuum cleaner, phone chargers, etc.

*EDIT* We have a problem uploading photos from Iphone. We will try to figure it out and post them on here asap. My girlfriend and sister are ubergeeks so I don't know why we can't work it out. Sorry.s[IMG][/IMG]

Oh well. This was a disaster. My girlfriend managed to upload via Photobucket (thanks for the advice) while I was in work but seems to have posted a couple of pictures on the little Grundig my first attempt and one of a larger TV, my 2nd attempt). I think on the last picture there is a large aluminium peice that the circuit board is attached to. There were plenty of other smaller parts that my magnet took to, but this large one on the back of teh screen didn't.

I'll try to tidy this all up today and post pictures of what I take apart today. I want to get a few TV's opened up so I can get rid of all the space consuming plastic, etc and then start looking into the goodies inside.
    Thanks.

A monitor is real close to a TV, in case you could not find the link Dee was talking about.
Could not find Easy's link, Dee.
