k, did. sounds interesting to me.
I would suggest buying a beat up one and fixing it with parts from sierra, new ram, pusher block, relining the wall and fixing the cracks with a welder, remanufactured shear head and new blades. Other then that you should be good to go and start shearing the crap out of material. Go small or big its whatever you want to do and how you feel about the future of where you are going with your yard.
The baler they build looks well built. Its perfect for small yards. Me on the other hand.. I've got a good flow of scrap to bale and would need bigger. And Pistone I have thought of it a million times over.. I feel the company is growing but the markets aren't. I am bringing in lots more product every month but competition won't let me make anything off it, they are keeping the profit down.
I know I am sick but that is Beautiful sight. I could just sit on the porch and drink iced tea and look out over those piles for hours. All the while my wife would be asking "what are you going to do with all that junk?"
Do you deal in export? If so, what do you deal, ie: sealed units, electric motors, 50:50, etc etc.... Thanks. Look forward to hearing from you.
Dave
