Scrap Semi Aluminum and Convert the steel the frame to...

Has anyone converted a 45' Semi Steel Frame to a heavy duty bumper pull?

I have a 45 Semi with aluminum side walls I plan to scrap.

I was thinking about scrapping everything except for 30-35 feet of the actual semi frame consisting of the long channel and cross beam to a heavy duty bumper pull trailer.

In most cases cheaper to buy one....BUT I also have 3 7K axles, brake system and heavy duty trailer tounge that I was considering throwing together and now having a heavy duty trailer not even having to purchase anything but wood. I would also get my 600+ in scrap aluminum and left over steel?

    Any thoughts?

If you look around you can find a bumper pull tri axle for cheap... I just bought one for $1000. Less work IMO
