Any recommendations on compressor core buyers?

Does anyone have any recommendations on semi-hermetic compressor core buyers? Especially a company who'd buy REALLY old semi-hermetic compressors for the core rather than scrap. I'm trying to put together a bid for my first "purchase" of scrap and I'm looking to cover all my bases. The unit I'm trying to get is a 1967 York chiller. I've figured out what I can offer based on the compressor being scrap steel, but I'd like to maximize my profit. The compressor rebuilders locally that I've talked to don't have too much interest in a unit this old. Any advice on a possible core buyer would be appreciated.

Honestly you best bet is just selling it as heavy breakable cast. Its honestly not worth anything but that unless you wanna break it open and lose money on it. Now the actual chiller part. Take a torch and split it on both sides hold the torch sideways so you dont burn down into the metal either copper brass or stainless or something of higher value 316 cupro nickel or straight nickel. I have seen all of them from small ones to huge ones. Then take the torch and burn down on each end of it and split the steel off of it. If the end pieces that are left on it are steel then you are going to have to clean it. Hammer, torch, genesis shear just nibble the ends off and twist it. Whatever you are using you just want it clean to maximize the price. The best thing in the world is when a yard sees these come in a load of torchable hms.
