Why not call the place that repairs them, ask if they could use em. Or just email them some pictures and ask

I have tried to call several places and received the normal "we will get back to you" and the same with email. I am still looking for other avenues of research though.

That is your best bet. I've done the same with success. Otherwise, I would think mid grade board price.

hek, stick em on ebay, no description or nothin, just use the numbers off of them and a price for shipping. Might be best in that mode to use a set price, like as if you know what they're worth lol ; )

I can't tell you much, but the first board is definitely a machine controller of some kind. Generally speaking, these are interface boards; the 32-pin connector on one end plugs into a specialized computer of some sort, and the outputs at the other end connect to some type of peripheral device. The yellow boxes on the first board are relays, which means that the board controls relatively large electrical currents for whatever machine it is part of. The other card is again some type of interface -- possibly to a mass storage device like a hard drive, etc., which would plug into the blue connectors. I would be very surprised if these were part of some type of spa; a CNC-controlled device of some sort would be a reasonable guess, but a guess is all it is. These are likely NOT out of a mass-produced product intended for a retail consumer's use; I would hazard that they have an industrial purpose, or (very remotely possible) some type of automotive use. Whatever it is, it's going to be tough sledding figuring out what they're for, and even more difficult trying to get better than scrap value out of them. I'm not an expert, but I think you're looking at 15 or 20 year old technology there. More modern stuff is all surface mount technology instead of DIP. (Of course, if you need whatever these things are, you need it bad...)

Very informative. Sounds kind of like a 'feast or famine' type thing. It is either worth the moon if you can find someone that NEEDS it or worth essentially nothing. Part of the fun of the hunt, I guess.

I would call the machine manufacturer that comes up in your searches. Ask to talk to the spare parts division and ask them pricing on these specific boards. Can either be completely honest of why, or do the old - I picked up a machine I am trying to decide if its worth it to repair

That is the strange thing. I do not find any specific manufacturer. The only information I can find about are the specific parts (board itself included) and they lead me to places that fix the boards, but even searching by name I cannot pull up a manufacturer's website. Maybe my google-fu is too weak.
