got some new towers with HD's removed

I got a call to get some computers from a company they didn't want. I get 7 desktops new with boxes, but its their policy to remove hard drives whenever they get rid of them. I have a box of hard drives. My question is should I just scrap em as usual or put in drives and resell? Im a fast nickel rather than slow dime kind of guy, but just want to make sure im not making a dumb move scrapping them. They're HP pavilions a220n. Thanks

I would suggest scrapping 5 of them, and trying to sell two. This would get you an idea of how it would go and you can see if you like it or not. Try selling them with hard drives for $40-60.

1) do you have OS disks to load ligit software? Was there any of the original driver disks/software in the box?
2) I would try to sell the 2 before you scrap the others. (if they go fast ya may kick yourself in the butt)
3)rawresale is right about 40-60 (if you scrap, it may be 10 -12ea)
4) you may want to ck ebay to see if you could get even more than the 40-50 as, is. there may be a small shop out there in the boondocks that would jump on something that is NIB and just needs a drive.

AMD Socket A (Athlon XP) with AGP graphics I think, not worth much. Still slapping in a HD and loading a linux distro you should be able to sell a few. Did you get the keyboard/mouse/monitors with them?

Brojer they have the disks. That's a good idea, I'll throw a couple on cl and see if the move fast. Olddude they are new, but hard drives are gone. Im getting a little gun shy about selling since I've been having a SLOW time selling stuff. The scrap yard and ewasted have me spoiled with getting fast money lol.

3 or 4 do have the cables, mice and keyboards.
